Corrosion resistance of Welded Steel Pipe

The general welded steel pipe is used for conveying low pressure fluid. It is made of Q195A, Q215A and Q235A steel. It can also be made of other mild steel which is easy to weld. Pipe to carry out hydraulic, bending, flattening and other experiments, there are certain requirements for surface quality, usually delivery length of 4-10m, often require fixed-scale (or double-scale) delivery. The nominal caliber of welded pipe is expressed by nominal caliber (millimeter or inch). The nominal caliber of welded steel pipe is different from the actual caliber. There are two kinds of welded steel pipe according to the prescribed wall thickness: normal pipe and thickened pipe. The steel pipe is divided into two types, one is with thread and the other is without thread, according to the pipe end form.
  The corrosion resistance of API 5L Gr. B X46 Welded Steel Pipe is strong in acidic environment when it contains Ni. In sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid environment, the higher the content of Ni in welded steel pipe, the stronger the corrosion resistance. In general environment, only adding Cr into welded steel pipe can prevent corrosion. The poor edge condition of the steel strip is another important reason for the wrong side. The effects of mass flow rate, heat flux density and structural parameters (the ratio of helical curvature diameter to welded steel pipe diameter, Dc/D) on the saturated bubbly boiling heat transfer coefficient in vertical helical tubes were investigated.
  The production of T-shaped welded steel pipe occurs when the wrong side occurs, and there are many influencing factors. In production practice, the welded steel pipe is often degraded by the wrong side. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the causes and preventive measures of the wrong side of the spiral steel pipe.
